  Player Spawn - More Events

Hoping to see the Ability for the Player to Spawn to other Scenes, also Spawn back if required.

Would like to see more Events like the way the Dialog Events work. Maybe to place Items in the Inventory, or Animate object etc etc.

Hi Everyone,

I've submitted version 1.0.3 of RPGAIO to the Unity Asset Store.

Here are the patch notes:
- Renamed Drawing.cs to RPGAIODrawing.cs
- Bug Fix: Update damage types on items after adding a damage type
- Added patch notes window and latest added features
- Moved 'New Data' button to Tools > LogicSpawn RPGAIO > Tools >  Data > New Game Data
- Added lootable world items:
  - Tools > LogicSpawn RPGAIO > Tools > Spawn Lootable Item
  - OR Click 'Spawn As Lootable Item' on an item inside the item db, craftable item db or quest item db
- Added option to auto-equip looted world items:
  - Auto Equip Always will always equip looted items
  - Auto Equip If Slot free will only equip if there is a free slot (e.g. offhand if dual wield is enabled)
  - Auto Equip If Higher Level will equip when the looted item is a higher leveled than the equipped one

This should be approved over the next week or so and I'll update the thread once it has.

After this update, the next one will most likely be update 1.1.0 with a small chance for 1.0.4 if there are any major bugs to fix.

  Character Controller Script

I've got RPGAIO all set up, but I'm trying to integrate a different player controller script into the default PRGAIO controller.

I use this controller:!/content/55598    - It's the Easy Ledge Climber

All I really want to do is use the Easy Ledge CLimber controller instead of the default RPGAIO, but within the framework of RPGAIO.

I've added the script from Easy Ledge Climber manually to the PRGAIO Player Class. Upon spawning, however, conflicts between the two controllers mean I have no real control at all.

Is there a way to spawn a RPGAIO class with the Ledge Climber controller script?

  Character Sheet & Inventory

I have a Shield for my Players Left Hand and a Sword for my Players Right Hand. When the Player Spawns he has a Sword in his right hand, and should only have the Shield in the Inventory.

When I open up the Inventory The Shield is there, but so is the Sword, which is also showing in the Character Sheet, first Slot. Obviously the Sword should not be in the Inventory.
When I click on the Sword in the Character Sheet it moves from the Player to the Inventory, which then shows two Swords.

I have tried every combination of ITEMS REQUIRED TO SHOW, IN COSTUME DESIGNER, but it never helped, also all other places where Equipment is shown.

  Use Gravity!

Many of you might know, but most that are unable to code using this might overlook this little tidbit....

When making a weapon/mountable item make sure you DISABLE the USE GRAVITY on it. It took me awhile to figure out why the shield would fall to the ground in the character select screen. I forgot to check the actual ART(child) of the empty object prefab.

Seems simple enough but hey, it took me 30 minutes to figure that out, talk about feeling stupid!!

I know you have answered these in email but thought I would ask them here..

Mecanim support or allow for 3rd party controllers like OpSive!  (Looks more natural than legacy I think)
Add another layer of animations to change when weapon equipped or not (1 for unarmed and 1 for weapon character comes with combat walk/run/idle and unarmed walk/run/idle)

Allow Click to attack on the hotbar (target an enemy then I can click my attack or skill on the hotbar instead of trying to shift+click in game window) this is different from autoattack, I would like to mash a button to attack, to at least feel active!

(Can you have a fighter that uses magic like a fireball spell? not sure if you have allow that...if not can you? Also if you do make sure you can only cast when weapon not equipped)

Change the camera/player controller to be more like the games of today, the current controls are a little.....odd... (I know you said you were going to work on this..)

Ability (if not already) to change the walk speed for roaming/patrolling and then set a run speed for when player is detected (On the enemy that is)

Just wanted to say.....I was using ORK framwork, very powerful but so confusing, used it for 6 months and never got to have a realtime battle (turn based was easy).
I then discovered plygame, did OK with that, got a small playable demo up and running in 2 months.

I then was visiting a friend who had RPGAIO, I watched the installation tutorial and setup.
Within 1 hr I had a player, an NPC, quest, and MOBs to kill.
It worked right away. 
I WILL be buying this, and he has shown serious renewed support the last few weeks, he has answered all my questions even though I have not purchased it yet.

If he continues to follow his roadmap, this will be a top of the line product and allow for you to pump out some awesome RPGs!
